In the beginning, there was an idea… But how came that idea? It is a little and really sweet story, about an even littler man. It was just one of these days. You are running from bedroom to your bathroom and back, getting ready for work. Your time is short and the next thing you do is go to your car. Standing right in front of it, you are searching for your keys, raiding through all of your pockets. A silent curse out of your mouth and the dilemma is perfect. You forgot your keys. Great! And the windows of your house are still open. Everything just doesn’t work, like it should. How to get in the house? How to get in your car? Nothing is possible. If the house could think of itself and would open the door, so I could fetch my keys… hey, why not?

Beginning to develop an own house-system

To begin with, two cameras were set up at the front door. One on the inside, one on the outside. Every time he left the house, it noticed it and said he should fetch his keys and close all windows. After this works, he put a chip on his keys. With this chip, the house knew if he forgot his keys and didn't say that every time. This worked out so well, he thought he could put those chips on more objects. He spread some more sensors in every room and put chips on different objects. From this time on, he never searched for something; he just found them, thanks to the chips. The last thing he did in his private life was to put little engines on his windows. Now, when he locked his door, the windows closed themselves.

A friend of the founder was very impressed by the functions of the house. It was a lucky condition, that this friend just had a ton of money. He would invest nearly all of his finances in a company, selling those devices. They discuss a lot and how it should be done.

The software became more and more complex. They needed a fully skilled programmer.

The presentation of SkyTec Industries was too amateurish. A new designer had to be hired and a marketing director should also be in the company.

The Number of employees grew, so the company had to move in a bigger office. The new address is still in Los Angeles. But now there was again space for new employees.
The main investor of the company decided to work as the janitor and became a very important part of the company - again.
From this point out, the triumphal procession began.
